About the role
The Assistant Electro Technical Officer supports the Chief Electro Technical Officer and Chief Engineer in maintaining and repairing the vessel's electrical plant and associated systems. This onboard position ensures reliable electrical operation for passengers and crew.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain onboard lighting systems.
- Service passenger and crew cabin electrical systems.
- Maintain launderette equipment.
- Assist with electrical generation, distribution, and propulsion plant maintenance.
- Support galley equipment maintenance.
- Provide assistance with engine room electrical systems as needed.
Required profile
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in electrical systems.
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
Required skills
- Electrical systems maintenance.
- Onboard lighting maintenance.
