Disc Jockey – Onboard Entertainment

About the role

Join the entertainment team aboard Norwegian Cruise Line as a Disc Jockey, creating a lively atmosphere for guests across lounges, pool decks, and special events. You will host events, manage music requests, and ensure high‑quality guest experiences throughout the cruise.

Key responsibilities

• Provide musical entertainment for scheduled activities, including lounges, pool decks, production shows, private parties, and special events.
• Host and MC events, run gameshows such as Guess That Tune and Music Trivia, and engage guests to promote participation.
• Maintain personal and company‑provided equipment, keep accurate inventory, and hand over documentation to the incoming DJ.
• Monitor onboard activities, take corrective action when needed, and report concerns to the Cruise Director.

Required profile

• Minimum two years’ experience as a DJ in entertainment venues; cruise experience preferred.
• At least two years serving as a Master of Ceremonies.
• Fluent English communication.
• Ability to live in crew cabin accommodations and work seven days a week as required.

Required skills

• DJ mixing and music selection.
• Operation of sound equipment.
• Basic lighting operation.
• Use of microphone for hosting events.
