Mechanic Fitter - SP

About the role

The Mechanic Fitter will perform major and specialized mechanical overhaul and repair work on marine equipment, ensuring the engine room operates smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Repair and maintain hydraulic equipment and valves.
• Operate hand and power tools associated with marine engines and equipment.
• Notify the Chief Repairman about consumables that need to be ordered.
• Prevent damage to spares and tools caused by poor handling or exposure to weather.

Required profile

• Experience in an equivalent position on vessels.
• Knowledge of the Company Safety Management System (SMS).
• Ability to work effectively as part of an engine room team.
