Nurse

About the role

The Nurse provides medical services to guests and crew members aboard Norwegian Cruise Line ships, supporting the Staff Captain, Senior Doctor and Doctor in all health‑related matters.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain guest and crew illness logs, medical notes, and narcotic counts.
• Execute Code Alpha, air and land evacuation procedures, and lead stretcher teams during drills.
• Prepare and submit medical center charge records, accident reports, and acute gastroenteritis logs.
• Perform weekly checks and maintenance of emergency and medical equipment.
• Obtain and test water samples for coliform organisms.

Required profile

• Minimum three years post‑graduate clinical experience.
• At least one year each in Emergency Department, Intensive Care or Coronary Care Unit, and in Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (or foreign equivalent) with a valid nursing license.
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification (renewable every two years).
