Quality Supervisor

About the role

Enviva is seeking a Quality Supervisor to lead laboratory and quality operations at its Franklin plant. The role focuses on maintaining product specifications, improving quality processes, and supporting sustainable wood‑pellet production.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the plant laboratory, supervise and certify operators, and oversee sampling and testing of finished goods.
• Develop, audit, and maintain quality control tools, test procedures, and documentation to ensure accurate, timely results.
• Track finished‑goods quality metrics, perform root‑cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Create and enforce best practices for pellet handling, storage, and equipment maintenance.
• Lead special‑project testing to investigate quality issues and identify improvement opportunities.
• Conduct pre‑shift meetings, provide on‑shift guidance, and train employees on SOPs and safety standards.

Required profile

• Experience supervising laboratory or quality operations in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on data‑driven decision making.
• Ability to lead teams, train staff, and communicate corrective actions effectively.
