About the role

The International Guest Services – German position supports non‑English‑speaking guests on a Norwegian Cruise Line ship, ensuring they receive first‑class service in their native language.

Key responsibilities

• Assist non‑English‑speaking guests at the Guest Services Desk, handling special requests such as honeymoon, anniversary, birthday packages, dietary and medical needs.
• Act as translator for guests with shipboard departments (Medical, Security, Revenue, Restaurants, Senior Management) and coordinate announcements and printed materials in the required languages.
• Support group leaders, make restaurant bookings, arrange special tours, and be present during embarkation, disembarkation, and port talks.
• Maintain a cash float, process traveler checks, and assist Cruise Programs with activities for non‑English‑speaking guests.

Required profile

• Intermediate to advanced English and at least one additional language (German, Spanish, Russian, French or Italian).
• Minimum one year of management or guest‑service experience in hotels or on‑board ships.
• Associate degree or equivalent in Public Relations, Hotel Management or related field.
