Photographer

About the role

The Photographer works within a dynamic Photo department on board Norwegian Cruise Line, creating and selling high‑quality photography experiences for guests. You will capture moments in a variety of settings, both on the ship and ashore, and help guests celebrate their vacation through personalized images.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests in the photo gallery, assist with digital kiosks, and guide them through product selections.
• Photograph scheduled events on board and ashore, meeting image count and sales targets.
• Use POS systems to process transactions accurately.
• Wear mascot costumes for themed shoots when required.
• Tag photographs with guest cabin numbers and ensure proper file management.

Required profile

• Minimum six months of customer service or retail sales experience.
• At least six months as a professional photographer or completion of a cruise‑ship photography training course.
• Intermediate to advanced English communication skills.
• High school diploma (required); bachelor’s degree preferred but not mandatory.

Required skills

• Proficiency with digital SLR cameras and portrait studio equipment.
• Competence in image editing software.
• Familiarity with computers and POS systems.
