1st Electro Technical Officer

About the role

The 1st Electro Technical Officer is responsible for maintaining and repairing the vessel's electrical plant and associated systems under the guidance of the Chief Electro Technical Officer and Chief Engineer.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and repair electrical power generation and distribution systems, including medium and low voltage networks.
• Support engine room electrical plant, starter panels, and automation systems.
• Assist with the vessel’s propulsion plant, elevator system, safety systems, and communication system as directed.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years on passenger vessels in the Electrical Department.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• MV Voltage certification and experience with elevator maintenance and repair.
