1st Electro Technical Officer

About the role

Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings is looking for a 1st Electro Technical Officer. The officer is responsible for the maintenance and repair of the electrical plant and associated electrical systems, as designated by the Chief Electro Technical Officer and Chief Engineer. Candidates must complete an online application to be considered.

Key responsibilities

• Report regularly to the Chief Engineer and Chief Electro Technical Officer on any issues with the electrical system under their responsibility.
• Maintain and repair electrical power generation.
• Maintain and repair electrical power distribution, including medium voltage and low voltage.
• Maintain and repair the engine room electrical plant, including starter panels and automation.
• Assist, under the instruction of the Chief Electro Technical Officer, in the maintenance and repair of the vessel's propulsion plant.
• Be available to assist with the vessel's elevator system, safety systems and communication system.

Required profile

• 2-3 years of relevant experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in the Electrical Department on passenger vessels.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.

Required skills

• MV voltage certification or experience.
• Elevator maintenance and repair experience.
