Cruise Consultant - Regent Seven Seas Cruises

About the role

Regent Seven Seas Cruises is looking for a Cruise Consultant to sell future cruises and act as the Sales Department liaison while serving on board its Seven Seas ships. The role combines guest service, sales support and coordination of loyalty programme events.

Key responsibilities

• Sell future cruises through daily office hours, consultations and socialising with guests, and use the NVS reservation system to check availability, give price quotes and make bookings.
• Prepare welcome letters for Seven Seas Society members, coordinate their parties and special events, and manage the loyalty programme each cruise.
• Host tables at cocktail parties, escort ship tours, assist with gangway duties and help organise private port arrangements.
• Present slides and videos on future cruise programmes, coordinate their broadcast placement and keep track of printed materials.
• Complete booking summaries, post deposits and follow the sales director's promotional priorities.
• Train new Cruise Consultants, promote service training and foster teamwork.
• Follow safety, pollution prevention and company policy procedures, and report issues to the Master.

Required profile

• Sales background preferred; shipboard experience essential.
• Experience in public speaking and presentations preferred; travel experience and destination knowledge preferred.
• Understanding of the highest level of service, strong administrative and leadership skills, and ability to work in an international environment.
• Excellent appearance, social skills and organisation.
