About the role
The Ordinary Seaman supports the safe operation and upkeep of the vessel. This entry‑level deck position involves routine maintenance, cleaning, and assisting with safety tasks under supervision.
Key responsibilities
- Participate in all jobs and tasks related to vessel safety, personnel safety, and environmental protection as directed.
- Perform deck maintenance and cleaning duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- Carry out any other duties required by the person in charge.
Required profile
- O.S. qualifications that meet International and National conventions, STCW 95, and Flag State requirements.
- Experience on vessels as a Deck Hand or in an equivalent position.
- Knowledge of the Company Safety Management System (SMS).
