Wiper – Engine Room Maintenance

About the role

The Wiper supports the engine room team by performing cleaning, painting and general maintenance tasks. This entry‑level position reports to the Staff Chief Engineer.

Key responsibilities

• Clean, paint and maintain engine room areas.
• Follow safe working practices, including proper use of watertight doors, chemical handling and personal protective equipment.
• Assist with any additional duties directed by the Staff Chief Engineer.

Required profile

• Entry‑level candidate; no extensive experience required.
• Previous experience in a similar vessel role is a plus.
• Knowledge of the Company Safety Management System (SMS).
• Team‑oriented attitude.
