About the role
The Crew Purser ensures smooth crew clearance, accurate financial reporting, and effective communication between shipboard departments and corporate offices. This position supports crew welfare, payroll compliance, and operational efficiency on board.
Key responsibilities
- Process crew clearance, port documentation, and crew sign‑on/off procedures, maintaining ship’s articles and crew passes.
- Manage crew accounting, payroll, and financial reporting in line with OCI/RSSC policies.
- Maintain crew records in Fidelio, including passports, seaman’s books, and certifications.
- Coordinate visas, travel arrangements, and daily crew movement reports.
- Supervise the Crew Administrator, oversee cash handling, and ensure safe management of crew office assets.
Required profile
- Hospitality or travel industry background with shipboard experience.
- Strong administrative and leadership abilities, able to work under pressure in an international environment.
- Excellent appearance, social skills, and a proactive, problem‑solving attitude.
Required skills
- MS Office Suite
- Fidelio Cruise (including modules for cruise management, payroll, data import, US Customs APIS, Quick Check‑In)
- Micros Fidelio Point of Sale
- NVS – Visual Reservation System
