About the role
The Human Resources Manager is responsible for implementing training programs, HR policies, and service standards to ensure exceptional guest satisfaction, crew morale, and positive business results aboard Regent Seven Seas Cruises. This senior position works closely with onboard senior management and shore‑side HR teams to maintain operational continuity and crew welfare.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, coordinate and implement crew training and employee recognition programs, ensuring compliance with RSSC policies.
- Maintain talent management documentation, oversee performance reviews, promotions, and disciplinary processes.
- Manage crew welfare activities, including monthly meetings, birthday communications, and welfare policy execution.
- Prepare cruise training schedules, HR end‑of‑cruise reports, and handover documentation for seamless transitions.
- Attend senior management meetings, cabin inspections, and disciplinary hearings to provide HR guidance and ensure policy adherence.
Required profile
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with senior management and department heads.
- Strong organizational skills with experience in HR administration, training coordination, and crew welfare management.
- Proactive problem‑solving attitude and visible presence on the ship to support crew and managers.
- Experience in handling performance reviews, disciplinary actions, and employee counseling.
