About the role
The Joiner is responsible for all carpentry repairs and woodwork inside cabins on board. Working under the Staff Captain and General Manager, the role supports daily deck operations and emergency response when needed.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out carpentry repairs and woodwork in cabins.
- Participate in daily deck activities and be ready for emergencies.
- Keep the Staff Captain and General Manager informed about ongoing projects.
- Attend mooring stations as instructed.
- Perform any other duties assigned.
Required profile
- Hold a Basic Safety Course Certificate and any other required certificates.
- Experience on passenger vessels as a Deck Hand or equivalent.
- Knowledge of the Company Safety Management System (SMS) and vessel specifics.
- Strong seamanship, team‑building, communication and conflict‑resolution abilities.
